As a part of The Davos Agenda, the World Economic Forum (WEF) has suggested how to keep children safe online. Based on the OECD Typology of Risks, WEC has listed the type of risks children face online. These include: content risks, conduct risks, contact risks, consumer risks, privacy risks and advanced technology risks.
It is necessary that parents, educators and children be made aware of these risks. Further tips have been suggested for parents, educators and policy makers and the work of WEFs Centre for Cybersecurity in that context highlighted.
