A dataset purportedly belonging to US electronics manufacturer Sanmina Corporation has been offered for sale by a threat actor. Private data purportedly belonging to approximately 50,000 Sanmina employees and files containing confidential information, including full names, emails, phone numbers, job titles and other private data, were found on a hacker forum. The cybercriminals also claim to have 200 documents in PDF format. These documents contain confidential information, such as the company's network structure and login credentials. The data set has been valued at$2,000.
Sanmina provides manufacturing services to critical industries, including healthcare, communications, aerospace, energy, computers and storage. The company is not the first to fall victim to this particular threat actor if the claims are proven true. Earlier this month, the same threat actor listed what it claimed was stolen sensitive data belonging to users and employees of Skybound Entertainment.
