Eugene Kaspersky, a CEO and a finder of Kaspersky Lab, warned that cybersecurity of the process automation and industrial control systems within critical infrastructure, such as power plants and water supplies, is on a very weak level, and that all the countries -including Russia and the US -can equally become targets of such cyber-attacks. He invited governments to invest more in protecting critical infrastructure from cyber-attacks, including through precise regulation and strict compliance. Kaspersky's warning was followed by a similar alarm issued by Richard Ledgett, deputy director of the US National Security Agency, who emphasised the importance of the security of Internet of Things.
