Indonesian government to block Internet services if their companies do not pay Indonesian tax

Indonesia's finance minister has told reporters that all Internet companies must 'have a local presence in the form of a representative office or a full-fledged company', so that they can be taxed. The government considers it important to impose taxes and control potentially damaging Internet content. In case Internet companies refuse to comply, Indonesia might 'reduce their bandwidth or block them entirely.'
