The government of Egypt has started setting a strategy on e-waste management and has launched a new solid waste collection system in different governorates. According to the new system, citizens will not discard old computers, mobile phones or any other electronic devices in trash cans and the Ministry of Environment will provide alternatives. The new strategy will be announced within two months.
