During the second Intra-African Trade Fair Pavilion, the African Union (AU) and the African Electronic Trade Group (AeTrade Group) kicked off an e-commerce platform -dubbed SOKOKUU which means 'common market' or 'central market' in Kiswahili -to connect businesses across the African market. This is part of the AeTrade Group's initiatives which aim to empower women, youth, micro, small, and medium-sized entrepreneurs to operate on an African branded platform that enables Africans to connect and trade with each other. The event also witnessed the launch of the Global Competition for Youth Start Ups.
