The Digital Health Technical Advisory Group established by the World Health Organisation (WHO) met for the very first time on the 28th October in Geneva. The Group was established in order to elaborate a roadmap to advance the digital health ecosystem. The group discussed a wide-range of issues such as ethics, data governance, as well as means how to assist communities to benefit from digital solutions in healthcare. The Group also elaborated an action plan with regard to the WHO's role in global digital transformation for the upcoming two years.Among other things, the action plan addresses advice on emerging digital health technologies, as well as recommendations for ethical use of technologies.
