US financial services company Wells Fargo has launched a banking inclusion initiative to assist unbanked individuals gain access to affordable, mainstream, digitally-enabled transactional accounts. The commitment has two main pillars: provision of affordable products and digital solutions, and accessible financial education and advice. The company has also launched a national unbanked advisory task force to help establish a coalition to advise on the initiative. The task force is made up of organisations working with minority communities in the US.
