UN aviation agency proposes global drone registry

The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)has proposed the creation of a single global drone registry, with the aim to make drone-related data accessible in real time. As explained by Reuters, the registry would act as a one-stop-shop allowing law enforcement agencies to remotely identify and track drones, as well as their operators and owners.
