The UK Department for Science, Innovation and Technology has released the program for the upcoming AI Safety Summit, which is set to take place on 1-2 November. Conclusions from each session will be published at the end of the summit.
The summit aims to provide a platform for stakeholders to collaboratively devise shared approaches to ensure the implementation of safety measures that can effectively mitigate AI-related risks. The UK government asserted that the summit's objectives are closely aligned with ongoing efforts at international forums such as the OECD, Global Partnership on AI, Council of Europe, the UN, and the G7 Hiroshima AI Process.
