According to the Guardian, UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) is considering allegations that FaceApp, the face-ageing photo app, could be misusing personal data. After this tool went viral in the past weeks, a number of experts and policymakers expressed their concernsover the processing of personal information by the developer's company. In the meantime, a US senator has called the FBI to investigate FaceApp due to fears about national security and risks.
