MIT Technology Review reports that a survey from Rock Health finds that consumers would not enthusiastically give their health data to Google, Apple, or Microsoft. Investors have put a lot of money in health applications and wearable technologies, but this hasn't translated in consumers trusting them with their health information. The survey of 4,017 people found that only 8% said they would share health data with a technology company, whilst 36% sid they would hand their health history to a research institution.
