Facebook and Twitter are addressing the images circulating on social media insulting the death of George Floyd by portraying the scene of a Minneapolis police officer kneeling on Floyd's neck. The images published under the hashtag 'George Floyd Challenge' on Facebook and Twitter were first reported in the United Kingdom. Three individuals have been taken into custody over their posts. The platform took the posts down. Additionally, the hashtag no longer appears on Facebook, although some reactions denouncing the posts remain online. Twitter declared that the posts breach their rules on self-harm and abusive behavior.
