The Japanese electronics manufacturer Panasonic filed a lawsuit before a federal court in Texas against Broadcom Inc. for alleged violations of its intellectual rights in several computer-technology patents.
In the case, Panasonic claimed that ten of its patents were violated by Broadcom's products, including microprocessors, integrated circuits, and parts used in wireless networking.
Furthermore, the lawsuits claimed that Broadcom intentionally violated the patents and asked the court to order Broadcom to stop violating patent rights.
