The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has launched an AI Policy Observatory, dedicated to 'helping countries enable, nurture and monitor the responsible development of trustworthy artificial intelligence (AI) systems for the benefit of society. The observatory provides access to AI-related resources from across the OECD and its partners from multiple stakeholder groups. It contains, for example, information about the latest AI policy research, data and metrics on AI to inform policy, and a database of AI policies and initiatives from countries, territories, and other stakeholders. The OECD has also announced a new partnership with the European Commission: The two entities will co-operate to ensure that the information provided by the OECD's AI Policy Observatory and the Commission's AI Watch is harmonised, consistent, and up-to-date.
