New U.K. consumer protection rules for online ticket buyers

From April 2018 in U.K. will enter into force new consumer protection rulesthat will offer more protection for the of online ticket buyers. This new rules should ensure that tickets are sold to the people who want to attend events and not the ones who want to profit from reselling. Hence resellers of the tickets will need to provide some additional info to buyer such as: sufficient details to allow the prospective purchaser to identify any particular seated or standing area applicable, information regarding any restriction, details of the original face value ticket price, etc. This will all be in service of better protection of real funs and having fare price for the tickets.
