According to Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, the Group of Seven advanced economies will discuss ChatGPT during their upcoming summit in Hiroshima. Kishida stated that 'international rules need to be created' regarding the regulation of advanced AI systems like ChatGPT, as calls for regulation increase amid the growing use of these programs.
This comes as US Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer attempts to set laws addressing concerns about national security and education, while the EU parliamentarians urge international leaders to identify measures to limit the development of such systems at a conference this week.
