India's Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology has announced it made the source code of Aarongya Setu, India's contact-tracing app for Android smartphones, publicly available. The source code for Apple's iOS-based smartphones will be released within the next two weeks. The statement highlighted that opening the source code to the public signifies the commitment of India's government to transparency and collaboration.
