According to IAPP, The German Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (BfDI) has published a paper on its interpretation of anonymized data under the EU's GDPR. This document presents the perspective of the Commissioner on anonymization requirements, processing and legal basis. The paper is open to public comments until 9 March.
