Provisional measures signed by outgoing Brazil president, Michel Temer, in the end of December, initiate the process for the creation of a Brazilian data protection authority. As reported byZDnet, the creation of the agency had been initially vetoed by Temer at the time he signed the country's General Data Protection Regulations last August. This measure is due to be voted by Brazilian Congress in the coming two months.
