editor-in-chief Jason Hiner recommended purchasing it over cheaper models after first reviewing the Series 9 in 2023.

Despite being an older model, the Apple Watch 9 is a standout in many ways. I rated this a 3/5 Editor's deal rating for its great price and function, but had to also keep in mind that the device is slowly getting older, and may not have functions that newer models have. In previous years, we have seen this same sale price. So it may not be lower than it was, but it is still the lowest price ever.
