The second phase of an investigation related to online sexual abuse of children during the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in the arrest of 15 people in Burlington County, USA. The investigation, named 'Operation Safe Quarantine II', was conducted between August 2020 and January 2021.
In a statement, the prosecutor's office in Burlington County mentioned a significant increase in child sexual abuse online and that their investigative unit had received 74 cyber tips related to crimes against children during this period.
