Uber suspended its services in Brussels in a demonstration of support to drivers' manifestation. Drivers protested against a law dating back to 1995 that prohibits drivers from using smartphones to pick up clients. The app remained unavailable for three hours. An Uber representative said the Brussels government failed to present a regulatory reform plan before the summer. The capital has around two thousand Uber drivers who fear losing their work, according to Uber.
