The Accenture 2020 Digital Health Consumer Survey found that the adoption of digital health tools slowed down, and even dropped in certain areas in the first three months of 2020. The report pointed out that security and privacy concerns have increased which keep customers away from using digital health tools. More than half of respondents (55%) do not trust tech companies to keep their digital health information secure while more and more tech companies enter the health sector. The survey also showed that consumer interest in virtual healthcare remains high, particularly among younger generations. Read the full report here.
