SpaceX successfully launched its second Starlink mission transporting 60 satellites into orbit using a Falcon 9 rocket on January 6th. Including the current 115 operational satellites placed into orbit on previous missions, there are a total of 175 operational internet satellites in orbit today. SpaceX's Elon Musk has indicated that once the company has 800 satellites in orbit it will begin delivering moderate internet coverage to many areas across the earth. At the current rate of deployment SpaceX should cross this 800 satellites threshold by June 2020.
