Pew Research Center: Smartphone ownership and Internet usage continues to climb in Emerging Economies

According to a new study by Pew Research Center, technology usage rates continue to increase in emerging economies, although they still lag behind compared to developed countries. Nigeria, Ghana and China are among the countries in which mobile Internet has grown the fastest in 2014 and 2015. The report also examined the gender divide, which it says is particularly prevalent in Mexico, Nigeria, Kenya and Ghana.
