Meta has announced that the company will be introducing in the next few months several parental supervision tools on Quest to keep teenagers safe in Virtual Reality (VR). Quest devices are meant for use for anyone over 13 years. The new features Meta will introduce include, expanding unlock pattern on the the Quest headsets that will allow parents to prevent their teens from accessing games and content they feel are not age-appropriate; automatically block teens from downloading or purchasing apps rated age-inappropriate; and launch a Parent Dashboard that will allow parents to help protect the teens online.
