Nigeria's Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) has expressed concern over low funding for Nigeria's 2023 digital voting plan. The lack of adequate funding is primarily an obstacle for the purchase of digital voting machines for Nigeria's general elections scheduled in 2023. The budget is yet to be approved by the lawmakers who themselves are divided over the use of the digital component pertaining to the transfer of the results.
