Kenya's Directorate of Criminal Investigations along with the UK-based Internet Watch Foundation (IWF), launched a dedicated online portal to report child sexual abuse online. Kenya is the 44th country to partner with the IWF to help protect children from online sexual abuse.
People can now anonymously report any images or videos of children suffering sexual abuse online. Once reported, the images and/or videos will be assessed by trained IWF analysts and if they are found to contain child sexual abuse, they will be blocked and removed from the internet.
