A report entitled 'Steering AI and Advanced ICTs for Knowledge Societies: a Rights, Openness, Access, and Multi-stakeholder Perspective' was launched by UNESCO at the IGF in Berlin. The report acknowledges that artificial intelligence (AI) can "pave the way for new opportunities in terms of sustainable development' and maps out the impact of AI through UNESCO's Internet Universality ROAM principles. The report therefore addresses AI in the context of human rights, openness, access and multistakeholderism.
