Uber started distributing face masks to active drivers and delivery workers around the world. The ride-hailing company first shipped the masks to drivers in New York City, but it expects to send a million more masks to drivers in the hardest hit US cities and regions around the world in the coming weeks. Uber affirms to be sourcing these masks from outside of healthcare supply chains as not to take them away from hospitals. Uber's major supplier is a company that traditionally makes electronic gadgets but now produces face masks to meet global demand.
