Next week (3rd-5thNovember) the Open Networking User Group (ONUG) meets at New York University in New York for its fall conference. For those of you not familiar with ONUG, it is a community of IT business leaders who exchange ideas and best practices for implementing Open Networking and Software-Defined Networking (SDN) designs.
Our enterprise customers continue to show significant interest in simplifying and automating their WAN network infrastructure and datacenter. Our ACI solution has reached over 1000 customers and we continue to see enhancements to Cisco Intelligent WAN (IWAN) with APIC-EM and the IWAN Application.
Building on this momentum Cisco will be an active participant at the ONUG Fall Conference. If you are planning to attend the fall conference this is a quick overview of the activities that Cisco will be participating in:
Day 1 -4thNovember
As part of the Lunch in Technology Showcase, Verizon will talk about how a global manufacturing customer is using their new Managed SD-WAN Service powered by Cisco's Intelligent WAN Solution.
Tech Field Day Extra will be filmed at 1:00pm in the Kimmel Center. Our presenter will be a doing a demo and covering ACI, Troubleshooting, and Hypervisor with seven delegates participating and asking questions throughout.
Starting at 1:45pm we will be showing demos as part of the SD-WAN and Virtual Network Overlay's working groups. For this conference, the Virtual Network Overlay's and the SD-WAN working groups move to phase 3 -Interoperability Proof of Concept Demonstrations. For those of you who attended the Spring Conference the SD-WAN working group was in the 2ndphase, Feature Verification testing, which I covered in an earlier blog post.
Day 2 -5thNovember
