Internet heat map reveals which countries are most vulnerable to hacking attacks

Security firm Rapid7 has released a heat map of the Internet, which shows the countries most vulnerable to hacking attacks 'by scanning the entire Internet for servers with their front doors wide open.' With that information, Rapid7 compiled the National Exposure Index, finding that the world's most vulnerable country is Belgium, followed by Tajikistan, Samoa and Australia. The project's aim was to comprehensively find out how insecure the net is. In an interview with The Guardian, Rapid7's Tod Beardsley explains, 'Everything is on the Internet and it's all broken.
