IBM has announced the start of operations of its first IBM Cloud Multizone Region (MZR) in Latin America, a large complex of data centres located in Brazil, which aims to benefit clients from Colombia and throughout the region in the implementation of mission-critical workloads with high levels of resilience in hybrid cloud environments.
The MZR is part of IBM's investment in accelerating the adoption of the so-called 'hybrid cloud' and, in turn, help promote business growth in Latin America, especially as companies from different industries promote their plans for digital transformation -which has gained particular prominence due to the pandemic.
