Every year in late summer, Google holds a "Made by Google" event. This is a hardware showcase where the company unveils its latest devices -- such as phones, watches, earbuds, and more. Unlike Google I/O, which is a springtime developer conference focused on software, this event is all about the Pixel and Google gadgets you can soon buy.
Yes, there are some software updates mentioned, but honestly, the hardware always steals the spotlight. Here's how to watch this year's Made by Google event. Plus, we got a preview of everything Google plans to announce during the show.
Google is holding the 2025 edition of Made by Google on Wednesday, Aug. 20, at 10 a.m. PT (1 p.m. ET). Ateaser posted on X for the event suggested it will be a star-studded event with appearances by Jimmy Fallon, Steph Curry, Lando Norris, and the Jonas Brothers. The in-person event will be held in New York City. Although it's invite-only, you can tune in online to watch the livestream.

Google launched four new phones: Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the foldable Pixel 10 Pro Fold. There are upgrades like Qi2 magnetic wireless charging, a new Tensor G5 chip, and fresh colors.
The new Pixel 10 Pro Fold is also the first foldable phone with IP68 dust and water resistance.
There's also a new Pixel Watch in two sizes (41mm and 45mm). The main change seems to be a revamped charger that lets the watch charge on its side, resulting in faster top-ups and a new nightstand UI. Preorders for Pixel Watch 4 begin today.
Google's budget earbuds got a refresh, too. Features include active noise cancellation, spatial audio, and a design closer to the Buds Pro 2. They cost$129 in the US, are available for preorder in hazel or iris, and will ship Oct. 9.
Finally, alongside the hardware, Google highlighted some new Gemini AI tools, including the Pixel 10 "Camera Coach" and an "Edit with Ask Photos" feature -- both of which should make your images better than ever.
