GSMA published research on Digital health: A health system strengthening tool for developing countries which looks at cases of digital health and digital solutions that are boosting health systems across seven developing countries in Asia and Africa. The research pinpoints 13 key private sector business models as major applications of digital solutions and showcases best practices to reach the underserved through digital health solutions. Through interviewing health and digital health experts in developing countries, the report further provides strategic recommendations for key healthcare stakeholders, including development partners and non-governmental organisations (NGOs), start-ups, mobile operators, investors, governments, and ministries of health.
