FCC proposes Internet subsidy for low income consumers

The American Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has proposed subsidies for broadband Internet for low-income consumers, in an effort to close the digital divide and connect the estimated 64 million Americans without Internet connection. on 31 March, the FCC will put the proposal to a vote.
