The lawsuits seek as a part of remedy for this anticompetitive conduct that Facebook divests in Instagram and WhatsApp. According to CNBC, FTC lawsuit alleges that 'Facebook holds monopoly power in the U.S. personal social networking market.' Additionally, the FTC will ask to ban Facebook from imposing anticompetitive conditions against third-party software developers.
