Facebook will launch smart glasses in 2021 that can lead to enable virtual reality (VR) meetings for work. The platform is partnering with EssilorLuxotica to develop these smart glasses. The CEO Mark Zuckerberg has announced that the smart glasses will pave the way for Facebook's eventual development of augmented reality glasses. So far, Facebook's experience is focused on the future of work. It has launched a new edition of Quest 2 and new oculus for businesses resources. Zuckerberg himself has admitted he had already held his first management team meeting entirely in VR. The experience is considered better than the current online collaboration tools, because individuals have a shared sense of space and special audio. Facebook admitted that it is 'going to be the most social platform ever'.
