Google has released version 83 of its Chrome browser, which includes several new features and enhanced privacy controls. Among them, there is an option allowing users to enable support for the DNS-over-HTTPs (DoH) protocol. This can be done in two ways: (1) using Chrome's built-in DoH mechanism; and (2) using a custom DoH resolver to anonymise their DNS queries (this would overwrite operating-system-level and organisation-level DNS settings.
