African ICT Alliance urges governments to adopt tax holidays

The African Information and Communication Technology Alliance (AfICTA) has urged African governments to create a 'conducive environment for youths to start their businesses by way of providing extended tax holidays'. AfICTA's Chairman, Dr Jimson Olufuye, stressed the importance of enabling environments for African tech startups, of which extended tax breaks would be an important part.
